Creating a project is easy! Click "Start a Project" in the top navigation, fill out your project details, add photos and videos, set your funding goal and timeline, and launch your campaign. Make sure to read our Creator Handbook for detailed guidance.
YallaStarter charges a 5% platform fee on successfully funded projects. Payment processing fees are additional (typically 3-4%). If your project doesn't reach its funding goal, no fees are charged.
To back a project, simply visit the project page, choose a reward tier that interests you, click "Back This Project," and complete the payment process. You'll receive updates from the creator throughout the campaign.
If a project doesn't reach its funding goal by the deadline, all backers are automatically refunded and no money is collected. This is called "all-or-nothing" funding, which protects both creators and backers.
Once a project is successfully funded, creators will begin production and fulfillment. You'll receive updates on progress and estimated delivery dates. Digital rewards are typically delivered immediately, while physical rewards may take weeks or months depending on the project.
Yes, you can cancel your pledge at any time before the project's funding deadline. Simply go to your account settings and cancel your pledge. You won't be charged if you cancel before the project ends.
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), debit cards, and local payment methods popular in Saudi Arabia. All payments are processed securely through our payment partners.
You can contact project creators through the project page by clicking "Ask a Question" or by commenting on project updates. Creators typically respond within 24-48 hours.
